Why Iran Is Running Out of Water - CaspianReport
All across Iran, lakes are vanishing, aquifers are drying up, and rivers are turning to sludge. Put simply: the country is running out of water. Water supplies are diverted to water-intensive agriculture and industrial production with little regard to where the water comes from and will it be there in the future.
