Related: About this forumUSA Running Venezuela - Joe Blogs
The United States has confirmed that it is now running Venezuela until further notice, following a personal announcement by Donald Trump during a press conference, describing the move as necessary to stabilize the country and restore order. No end date has been given, raising the possibility that US control could last for many years.
This marks one of the most dramatic interventions by the United States in a sovereign nation in modern history, drawing comparisons with post-World War II occupations and US-led administrations in countries such as Germany, Japan, and Iraq.
With no clear timeline for when control will be handed back, this decision could reshape the region and set a precedent with far-reaching consequences.

Even my MAGA brother is thinking that this invasion is a likely mistake. He didn't know that we had boots on the ground until I told him. His outlook on the situation is guided from his time in the Army when he was sent from West Germany seeing the Berlin Wall fall to having his tour extended to fight in the1st Armored Division in Iraq.

however, I wish that he would also respect the rights of others to speak freely also. It's part of the oath that they take.
