Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says US-brokered peace talks with Russia will resume this Wednesday in Abu Dhabi. Meanwhile Russian drone attacks continue to wreak havoc on Ukraine. Authorities in the country's center and southeast say Russian strikes have killed at least 17 people this weekend. In Zaporizhzhia, a maternity hospital was targeted by drones.

1. Russia could protect its security and end a war it can not win

Russia could offer a peace with Ukraine and long term peace with Europe, in return for dissolving NATO. The EU could form a new defense alliance, just without the U.S. I bet the EU would take that deal. Trump has pissed everyone off and shown himself to be so unreliable that it the value of an alliance with the U.S. is questionable to Europe anyway.
