Something Huge Just Happened to Europe's Global Strategy - The Global Gambit - Pyotr Kurzin
France has just announced the most significant shift in its nuclear strategy in decades.
In a speech at the Île Longue submarine base in Brittany, President Emmanuel Macron revealed plans to expand Frances nuclear arsenal and introduce a new advanced deterrence framework involving several European allies. In this video, we examine why France is expanding its deterrent, what Macrons new doctrine means for Europes security architecture, and how this decision could reshape the balance of power across the continent.
