US delegation heads to peace talks in Islamabad - DW News



Washington says its negotiators are heading to Pakistan for talks with Iran on Monday. Tehran says it hasn't given up on peace talks — but has stopped short of confirming it will show up.

With the ceasefire deadline closing in and the Strait of Hormuz still closed, we ask Iran expert Mehrzad Boroujerdi what could happen if these talks collapse.
