Criticism needs some grounding in reality. The last year they toured, 2013, they were the #1 concert Bluenorthwest May 2015 #3

draw of the year, 90 shows, 90 sell outs, over 200 million in gross. Like them or not, they are enormously popular on the road. A Bon Jovi tour is #15 in the 25 top grossing concert tours of all time. It's not hyperbole. It's showbiz.
When I see baseless criticism, I figure it stems from an ulterior agenda of some sort.

The new commandment hasn’t gained traction yet, apparently. Bon Jovi isn’t Elton john, and Israel 2015 isn’t Sun City 1985. Apartheid in Israel hasn’t kicked in yet, so if they want to play in Israel, let them play. I personally think the new government is a little bit too disgusting, and too close to implementing the one-state apartheid solution.

They put on a kick ass concert. Too bad it's not in October while I'll be visiting Israel - I would have definitely tried to get tickets.
