IDF: Iranian forces fire 20 rockets at Israel; Iron Dome intercepts some

https://www.timesofisrael.com/sirens-sound-in-golan-heights-residents-urged-to-enter-shelters/

Some 20 rockets were fired at Israeli military bases by Iranian forces in southern Syria just after midnight on Thursday, with some of the incoming missiles being intercepted by the Iron Dome defense system, the army said, amid sky high tensions on the northern border.

This is why Israel launched missiles at Syria recently, because Iran was setting up these missiles in Syria.

It is almost as if there has been a state of war or near war in the region for the last 70 years.

Nobody is “right” in this mess.

Syrian weapons you would have a point. But these are Iranian ones, newly deployed. Controlled by Iranian forces. Most of the countries around Israel have either recognized its right to exist openly (Jordan, Egypt), have in effect recognized its right to exist with back door channels, quietly working together (Saudia Arabia) or have had a status quo peace (syria up until now and Lebanon for the most part).

Iran is the only one that still openly calls for Israel's destruction and funds forces that are trying to push this (Hezbollah).
