Gaza terror groups say rockets fired over Jerusalem unrest, warn worse to come

Two terror groups in Gaza took responsibility on Saturday for the salvos of rockets fired at Israel overnight, saying the attack was in response to violent clashes in Jerusalem in recent days and that worse was still to come.

Fatah’s Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigade and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine’s Abu Ali Mustapha Brigades said that they were behind the 36 rockets fired at Israel, linking the attack to the unrest in and around the Old City.

"We will burn the occupation’s settlements for you, O Jerusalem. The greatest [response] has yet to come,” a spokesperson for the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigade said.

The rocket attack followed days of tensions and clashes in Jerusalem and the West Bank that involved Palestinian and Israeli civilians as well as Israeli security forces. The Muslim holy month of Ramadan normally sees increased tensions around the Old City, which houses the Temple Mount site, holy to both Jews and Muslims.

under the 'Geneva Declaration on Terrorism', which the U.S. is a signatory to, fighting back against Illegal Military Occupation is NOT terrorism.

I know the RightWing extremist Likud is DESPERATE to associate the Palestinians they have under illegal military occupation with international terrorists, but they are not terrorists under international law. But then again, the Likud War Criminals do not bother complying with international law.

The Oslo Accords delineate the arrangements in the West Bank. The occupation was never a violation of Geneva 4, because no nation was being occupied.

Gaza is illegally occupied by a terrorist group, Hamas.

Question, is the occupation of cyprus by turkey a violation of geneva 4, article 49?

which you would know if you bothered to read the pertinent UN Resolutions, instead of reading and regurgitating RightWing propaganda.

Sure, the IDF pulled out, but they barricaded the borders, militarized the checkpoints, blockaded the sea, control the Palestinian airspace, and control all the utilities and water & sewer services.

They turned Gaza into the largest outdoor prison on the planet.

It's STILL Illegal Military Occupation.

I write to remember the brutality of Jewish violence I saw in Jerusalem

There was the Palestinian father who tried to save his daughter from the police, the young Kahanists chanting 'death to Arabs' in the streets, the fear I felt when asked if I am a leftist. I write to remember it all.
