Israel has now started investigations of its conduct in the more recent war, and some Human Rights groups are questioning whether Israel should be the one conducting these examinations.
But do the indictments that followed from the last war serve as some evidence Israel can conduct a fair investigation?
If Israel's investigations are biased, then why did Israel indict people last time it investigated?

(55 posts)then what exactly are the Palestinians worried about? It is really not that easy for a democracy to commit mass murder. Some judges and prosecutors are doves when it comes to political issues. The Israeli government cannot just bribe its judges or prosecutors, who are promoted based upon how big convictions they get.
