It is possible Putin has made a huge mistake, that will cost him a whole lot.

It is up to Russian generals to decide. ....If they decide to take out Putin, Putin will be history.

.................... If Putin kills too many Russian soldiers, it is possible (unlikely) that the generals
will turn against him. Anything is possible. You don't think so? Look at history. That will prove you wrong...
When I say ....anything, I really mean ...ANYTHING!!!!

Yes, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.!!!

i never thought that Trump could get elected.
I also didn't think Obama could be elected.
There is so much more in history that could not be predicted.

One Example: Who could have predicted that Hitler would have invaded Russia, and that was his total and complete mistake
that cost him the war? And there here are so many more events in history that are mistakes...

... Do not be fooled, Anything Is Possible!!

Putin may have made ...a mistake that will cost him more than he knows or can imagine.

but since we clearly refuse to get involved anymore than we have, then Putin will take Ukraine down with him.
He clearly has some sort of mission in his head to eradicate Ukraine as a country.

We are seeing Kyiv get rocked as I type this. He will have his troops stand off, reduce the city to rubble and call the problem solved, just like in Grozny.

Yeah, it's a long term loss, but he's ok with that as long as Ukraine is wiped away.

collapse and the sanctions. At least the oligarchs must be urging Putin to pull out of Ukraine. The pressure on Putin must be huge. Yes, he is weaker no matter what happens. There are no good options for him.

Battles, tanks, and their own heads maybe, but not men. There are always more where the came from.

I was told in that course...that someday everyone will own one, and they will be cheap enough for that to be true.

I remember that I thought that the professor is ...Totally Nuts!!...........................

Well...GUESS WHAT...I WAS TOTALLY WRONG.....

I own one now and am using it now...right now to write these words..

10. And yet...

I took a job in 1985 and on the first day I was told 'our days were numbered". I was a copier tech, and even the company that hired me was going on about how we were entering a paperless society- everything would be on microfilm (Hee Hee) or hard drives. Twenty-eight years later, I retired from that same field, and in the last few years was building MASSIVE paper storage systems, because the paperless society was a joke.
So it can go both ways.

and although I have a computer, and I am using it right now, I also have a pad of paper where I can write
notes to myself about ideas that I get from the computer. Lots of notes about lots of things. You name it
and I got notes (to me) about that subject.

7. Actually, ... it will be the oligarchs who decide. Putin is a mob boss, but he isn't producing

He's messing up their game. Costing them giga-rubles, tera-rubles (At 100 to 1, a tera-ruble is $10 billion).

Mob bosses don't stay Da Capo if they don't produce.

They will tell him to retire to the $1 billion palatial estate he is building.

Putin has fearsome levers of power as President (dictator) but is also supported by the oligarchs. In these kinds of things, it is a question of who breaks the ice, bursts the dam, etc., but they have every incentive to sideline Putin now.
