True -- ALL the tapes are gone --

You must be aware that almost everyone believes that the moon missions happened.

Who discusses it -- CNN? PBS?

Remember when the CIA used to be admired --

and we had a government we thought we could trust?

"Moon Landing" took place at a time when there was a great deal of

trust in government -- but still, many had doubts about it.

One of the odd advantages of the JFK assassination is that there's a lot of

interest and a lot of information out there -- many challenges to the official myth.

Very public event which many felt deeply impacted them and they are still interested.

Same with 9/11 -- and the challengers got busy very quickly getting a lot of info out.

http://www.space.com/13878-nasa-apollo-moon-rocks-misplaced-lost-report.html

NASA regularly loans moon rocks, meteorites and samples of comet dust to museums, researchers, educators and institutions around the world. The Astromaterials Acquisition and Curation Office maintains 140,000 lunar samples, 18,000 meteorite samples, and about 5,000 solar wind, comet and cosmic dust samples, the report said.

"As of March 2011, over 26,000 of these samples were on loan for scientific study, educational pursuits and public outreach purposes," Martin wrote.

Out of those 26,000 sample loaned out, 517 have been misplaced.

Not to you, of course. I don't think there's any evidence you would accept on the subject. But the immense undertaking of travel to the moon was well documented and the vast majority of samples have alway had a chain of custody.

There is only great controversy about the rocks in a small subset of people. And of course you know that.

That's from astronomer Phil Plait. You can also watch the Mythbusters take on the Moon Hoax Myth on YouTube:

That last part (part 5) has actual evidence that NASA astronauts actually went to the moon - contact with a laser retro-reflector left on the moon by Apollo 15 astronauts.
