I think this program offers a pretty good preview of the series people everywhere should be watching...

Why? Because "Untold History" sounds like it offers a view of the U.S. few Americans have ventured into... that we are NOT best when we are "world dominators". She only asked what a good interviewer WOULD about LIHOP and Sept 11th. Their response is not to weigh in on that, and you don't necessarily get the idea that they don't disbelieve LIHOP. Anyone who's previewed the PNAC document can put 2 and 2 together. It cannot literally be answered. What CAN be examined is the United State's roll in trying to dominate.

The story of world imperialism and what how US world leaders returned to the pre-WWII vision after Kennedy was eliminated one one that I've followed. Reading history is good, and considering it all is better.

3. I'll be able to weigh in when I see the series, but based on what I get from the interview ....

... none of this was ever LIHOP, just like every serious historian I've read on JFK has not come out with "who did it or let it happen", instead, trying to rely on why.. (was it Kennedy's foreign policy points of view? was Kennedy ready to transform the CIA entirely from what it had become and were we ready to work on peace with countries who were seen as "communist"?

These can be examined by historical examination of what Kennedy did. The People's History (Howard Zinn) took the same approach so that the reader "gets it" after a while that same imperialism and manifest destiny attitudes that helped wipe out native Americans, lent itself to how permanent underclasses built this nation.

I think it's all meant to move us forward... We're not as smart and great as we think. They want to tell the story without any reason to think you need a tin foil hat. Truthseeking at it's best, if you ask me.

But, I'll wait till I see the series to see if I'm correct.
