There were people willing to stand up for what was right... the friends and also the police who have labeled this a hate crime investigation! Kudos to all of them, it's because of you all that we're living in a safer world for LGBTers!

(27,670 posts)classes would make these bullies think way more than twice about hurting someone after they are released back into the community.
I'm not a fan of the prison system, but that's how we deal with criminals at this time, and it's time for the courts to get serious and start sending a message.
It's not acceptable to harm innocent LGBT persons, and if you do so, you are going go to prison for a long time.
Because, so far, the bullies don't seem to be getting the message.
Get them off the street where their violent nasty little selves can't hurt innocent people anymore.
