Related: About this forumCasting for Faulkners "As I lay dying" is this week a few blocks from my house. James Franco stars
and directs. They emphasized men over 40 (both my partner and I are easily). We were extras in "O' Brother Where Art Thou" and "The Ponder Heart" so we have at least a little experience (though no lines).
I'd do it just to meet one of the sexiest men alive. How often do you get that kind of chance in podunk Mississippi?

(17,911 posts)Many of them could warrant reading again; I've forgotten many of the details after all these years. However, I don't know if I'd have as much patience for Faulkner nowadays. My tastes have changed a lot.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
