Lost and Found by MLR Press
I was honored to be given an Advance Review Copy (ARC) of "Lost and Found", the anthology series by Kris Jacen and MLR Press. I started reading it last night as I went to sleep, and found that sniffling and sobbing are not conducive to a good rest.
Please don't think that these stories are sad. They do have hopeful, sometimes happy, endings, but the road to get there is rough. This is a fact for LGBT youth in our country. Abandoned, kicked out, physically abused by their families, they have nowhere to turn.
Lost and Found is an organization in Atlanta and they work to help these kids. The proceeds from this anthology will go to help this group.
Tom Webb, Jeff Erno, Caitlin Ricci, Michele L Montgomery, Doug Starr, D.C. Juris, Dakota Chase, Tabatha Hart, Diane Adams, and MF Kays have given their time and talent to make this project a success. The book comes out soon and I hope that everyone will purchase a copy. Help out those who will follow in our footsteps and become authors, thinkers, husbands, fathers, wives, mothers, lovers...the path before them branches in many directions. They just need our help to clear away the brush and make it clear for them.
Jared Rackler did an amazing job on the cover for this story. It conveys the overwhelming feels that all teens feel at times, but that some might never recover from without a helping hand.

Thank you for your time.

(Full disclosure: I am an author at MLR Press, but am not involved in this project other than trying to make sure it's a success for this organization. Thank you.)
