Part of Brad Pitt's Acceptance Speech at the Critics Awards

“This is a really big honor for me, considering I’m a guy who had never ridden in an airplane until I was 25,” he began. “That first trip was here in 1989 to New York. I had an audition for a soap opera. But I had to put myself up, and I stayed at a friend’s apartment. That apartment was in the Village on Christopher Street. My first impression of the city was: my god, there’s a lot of guys around here. But they’re so nice.”

He was as much a super hunk at 25, as he is now, I imagine.

Can you imagine running into him then in the Village?

I'm sure we would have had fun. Oh, those were the days when Brad was 25, I was 40 something, but I still looked good then.

I bet he would have just thanked me and moved on..but I can dream now as I would have then.

I believe he was an advertising major but I might be wrong... A teacher told me that his last school project was to create a pin-up calendar of frat guys that would be sold for charity. It never got finished. It looks like he made the correct career choice.

"Thelma and Louise," is the first film I remember seeing him in. I thought he was sooooo hot in that movie!
