Anti-gay preachers shouted down in Sydney

Adelaide’s most notorious street-preaching crew didn’t impress the young folks of Sydney today.
There were tense scenes as the small gang of ‘Street Church’ ranters waved their banners on George Street, just outside the Queen Victoria Building. They were up to their old tricks, yelling a strange tirade of anti-gay abuse at passers by.
Teenaged Sydneysiders soon gathered to laugh, yell, and pose for photos with the preachers, hastily creating their own signs, labelling the so-called Christians as ‘40 year old virgins’, ‘closet homosexual’ and ‘hypocrite’.
‘LESBIAN PRIDE’ read another sign waved in the preachers’ faces....
