When protesting against LGBT isn't automatically evil.

http://www.vice.com/read/this-is-what-a-real-woman-looks-like-austria-bigots-greedom-party-conchita-wurst-life-ball-poster-786?utm_source=Outbrain&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Blogrss

You may remember Conchita Wurst, the transsexual who won the last European Song Contest. The FPÖ (the austrian right-wing party) took issue with the celebrity-cult and publicity-obsession surrounding Conchita and launched their own PR-campaign with the message that women can be successful without media-hype.

The interviewer (in the link above) tried his best to paint those guys as transgender-hating and women-discriminating assholes. Sadly, the interviewee stayed sensible.
He thinks it's a problem when a famous transgender person got famous simply by being transgender.
He's against the media-hype when LGBT is used for publicity simply because it's "chic".
And no, women were not discriminated in the PR-team.

While I don't agree with his offhanded remarks that women don't need help and can combat gender-inequality all by themselves, I think he has a point with the shallow celebrity-culture. Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, Ben Carson, Sarah Palin... Famous for being famous. Being famous for being transgender is no different than being famous for being pretty.

And a personal anecdote on gender-quotas in companies:
A colleague of mine is quitting his job to look for a new one. There is an opening at another company. The job comes with a lot of responsibility, a high salary and needs someone with a special skill-set that my colleague has. My boss (a woman) told him that he's free to apply for that job, but he won't have a chance. She knows that position: Due to gender-quotas the job is destined for a woman and there are already four female applicants.

It is literally saying that they are second class citizens and should remain as such. This is just Phyllis Schlafly-esque self-hating misogyny aimed at LGBTers.

The author's other contribution to the LGBT group was "A bisexual woman that is okay with lesbians and hates gays". I questioned why that was posted here and now this.
