THANK YOU!

I have been amazed by the support I have received from the LGBT community here on DU and in my personal life!

Lived hetero my whole life, married hetero from 1992 to 2004. Divorced. Just recently became involved in a same-sex relationship with a lesbian who has been a long time friend. Family support sucks. DU support has been absolutely amazing. Personal LGBT community support has been off the chart!

You all, male and female, are so cool!

Again, thank you all so much!

I am so happy right now! Peace and love to all of you!!!

Sucks that your family doesn't get it, but you have to do what's right for you. I hope it's fairy tale for you

Hope my parents come around.

Of course, I have the "perfect" sister who is a devout Catholic, like them, and married to a very successful man.

But I would not give up this relationship for anything.
