Log Cabin Republicans: Party passes ‘most anti-LGBT platform’ in GOP history

Log Cabin Republicans on Tuesday evening issued an email announcing that “moments ago, the Republican Party passed the most anti-LGBT Platform in the Party’s 162-year history.”

The email, from Log Cabin President Gregory T. Angelo, continues: “Opposition to marriage equality, nonsense about bathrooms, an endorsement of the debunked psychological practice of “pray the gay away” — it’s all in there.

“This isn’t my GOP, and I know it’s not yours either. Heck, it’s not even Donald Trump’s! When given a chance to follow the lead of our presumptive presidential nominee and reach out to the LGBT community in the wake of the awful terrorist massacre in Orlando on the gay nightclub Pulse, the Platform Committee said NO.”

Angelo then requests donations from Log Cabin members:

Most Republicans think of them as sub-human and in some states they won't even let them set up booths at the state conventions to distribute material.

Stubbornly and against all evidence that the GOP doesn't want them, the LCRs continue to vote for them.

If you're gay and vote republican.. well we all know why that one is against our interest.
If you are someone who makes less than $250,000 a year, you are voting against your own interests.
If you are someone who could lose their job next week.. regardless of if it's for cutbacks, or any kind of personal injury or illness.. and within 2 months be broke, and in danger of losing your home.. you are voting against your own interests.
If you are a human being, who is susceptible to someday being sick, and in need of extremely expensive medical care that you can not, and will not be able to afford.. you are voting against your own interest.
If you are a female, and believe in equal rights for women.. you are voting against your own interests.

Well, fuck, if you are ANYTHING other than a very rich middle aged heterosexual white male with huge income gains every year in optimum health - you are voting against your own best interests if you are voting Robpublican.
