heterosexual as a person can be and still function. Even when I understood very little about the entire LGBT world (and this goes back to the early 1970s) I understood that a person didn't voluntarily choose where they stood on that path.

I was always attracted to those of the other gender. I never had to sit down and decide. It was inborn, instinctive. How ignorant to think that LGBT people choose their path.

Sadly, religion is such a huge barrier to an understanding world.
