I was on the periphery with my service dog to hear Kamala speak yesterday. For the second time in a week she brought me to an emotional overwhelmed state and made me feel like maybe, just maybe shouting "We're here, we're queer, get over it" 40 years ago just might have been worthwhile.
My 60 year old bones ached after all the walking at Pride yesterday, I was glad to sit down on BART and reflect on how far we've come.
