Skittles gives up its colors to honor the rainbow flag for Pride Month

Skittles will be selling limited edition packs of color-less candies for Pride Month in a nod to the rainbow flag, with part of the proceeds going to an LGBTQ organization.

June is Pride Month, which means that a lot of companies will be slapping rainbows on their products. But Skittles are already rainbow-colored, so they’re giving up their colors instead.

“During PRIDE only #OneRainbow matters. That’s why we are giving up our rainbow to show support for the LGBTQ+ community!” the candy brand says in an Instagram post.

The colorless Skittles Pride Packs will be available in Share Size Packs and Medium Stand Up Pouches at some Walmart and CVS locations in the U.S. in June, and one dollar from every sale (up to $100,000) will be donated to GLAAD.
