1st recipient of gender-reassignment surgery, Lili Elbe was #BornOnThisDay, Dec. 28, 1882. A #trans woman, she passed in 1931 (age 48) from complications involving a uterus transplant. Her book, Man into Woman was published in 1933 #RIP #GoneTooSoon #LGBTQ #transrights #firsttime
