For those who don't pay attention to celeb gossip (alas, I do), photos of a 100% naked Prince Harry and some young women he picked up in Vegas have hot the press. Here's a link:

Personally, I don't care: he did it on his time and with his own money. However, some posters at that blog had a good point: Harry will be called on the carpet by the Queen, but that'll be it, and everyone will just chuckle a bit and say, "Oh, that Harry is such a rascal!" I myself kinda did that.

However, what if either Princess Beatrice or Princess Eugenia dd this? Or Princess Madeleine of Sweden? Or Zara Philips if she was still single? The first two would especially be slut shamed, and their mother *Sarah Ferguson)would be, too. Never mind Prince Andrew and his underage prostitutes. They would never hear the end of it!

I also think this would be the case if they had traipsed about London in a Nazi uniform like their cousin Harry did.

I heard Diana had an affair with one of her chauffeurs, and that guy had red hair like Harry's. I don't know for fact it is true, but where does that red hair come from? If they have the courage to check DNA and the courage to admit it, we shall see.

The point is, this thread has a specific purpose that fits the SOP of the group and discussing the paternity of a royal isn't within the scope of the SOP. Obamanut2012 and you were veering off topic, she realized it and tried to stop it.

If you object to the actions of any co-host in this group please send me a message. Stating that you don't give a rat's ass about her status as co-host is not productive.

I'm not kicking you out of the group -- we try very hard not to kick anyone out. We also try to maintain on-topic threads which meet our SOP.

Diana never had an affair with a chauffeur. I have NEVER read that. And, most of the Spencers are gingers, and Harry looks like Diana's brother and, as he ages, Prince Charles.

And, why would he need to be careful? Charles has denounced the nasty comments and has stated Harry is his son. Why does anyone need to be "brave" and do a DNA test? It isn't like Charles is being made to pay child support for a child not his.

I devour those mags in the nail parlor and at the Chinese take-out, though I realize I'm getting really old when I have to keep wondering "Who are most of these people?" They prove you can be young, gorgeous, thin, rich, and famous, and be even more miserable and fucked up than I am.

Following the Royals is almost as much fun as Downton Abbey. And if you think we Americans are harsh, you should read what some of the British press says! Did you know Elizabeth is supposed to have some cousins locked up in a comfy padded room in a remote asylum? Well, neither did I, and I probably still don't, but many English are convinced of this.

It's the last stand of a hereditary class system that's being reduced to tokenism by the Monarchs of Capitalism, and like an episode of Masterpiece Theatre, the actions women can take are limited by their upbringing and social expectations.

I expect it sucks to be a Princess, Disney fantasies aside.
