I am flying out there tomorrow for her wedding on Friday.

I am so happy for her and so scared at the same time for so many reasons. Happy will override.

May I help you with some hints and tips?

If you are staying in a hotel anywhere but south of the strip, tell the driver to go through town. This is usually the first rip off for visitors to our city.

If you want to tell me where you are staying, I'll tell you about how much it should cost to get there.

5. we are staying at the Monte Carlo

and the price is booked and all that jazz.

I have no idea what Vegas is now, last time I was there the Aladdin was just being built and now it's dust.

For locals Vegas is like anywhere else. Suburbs and strip malls.

Only difference is there's video poker in the grocery stores.

10. It's all LED billboards, and every few feet you'll be bugged by people trying to

sell time shares via the offer of show tickets. Just don't make eye contact.

13. Cab fare about $20. The freeway is not faster but is an extra $12 - $15.

Monte Carlo is nice. Be very careful if you're driving yourself, even the people that aren't drunk are aggressively stupid in their cars.

I just went to a wedding last month, my cousin's, first wedding I've been too not counting when I was a baby. One my cousins than I danced with tried to dip me (she girl, me boy) and she lost her balance and hit another cousin in the head. Fun times, I guess. ;p

All went well! I would post a pic but I will have to ask daughter first if that is okay and she will still be away for another week as they are spending some time in Sedona (which looks really beautiful).

I don't know why she chose to do it this way but it is what it is! lol. Ma went zip.com on it all and just followed along.
