I have avoided bringing it up and will not do so again.

Enjoy your time.

SHIT.

Never got and don't expect to get any respect for the mentally ill.

I suppose that is exactly what I deserve.

Fuck Obamacare, I'll pay the $91 penalty.

But you know this.

Those of us who deal with mental issues are kind of fucked, but it seems to be getting better.

but probably not much beyond that.

Sucks to know you're on your way but then again, think of all the shit you won't have to do any more like mowing the lawn, doing your taxes, Xmas shopping for people you don't particularly like.

I just wish the cat would go to her eternal reward while there's enough of me to go on a cruise or something. I've always wanted to travel and have never been able to do it. Unfortunately I think she's waiting to see me safely tucked up in a nursing home before she goes. She's 21.

I made a decision a few years back when my brother and then my mother died that I would use the money my mother left me to travel, because she loved traveling so much and wanted me to travel, too. I made a bucket list of places I wanted to see before I died or got too old and decrepit.

So far, this is my 10th year of taking a trip or two on that list and I have been to 7 countries, with 5 trips to different locales in Italy alone. I have two desired spots left: southern Spain and the South of France. The places I stay are nothing fancy but the art and culture are incomparable and many museums in Western Europe are either free or at minimal cost. Ditto magnificent cathedrals.

My spinal arthritis is not going to get any better so I'd better get and keep moving til I can't any more...
