Related: About this forumHas anyone come up with a GPS that would help blind people?
There is this incredibly brave blind man that I see walking around. He crosses one of the busiest intersections in this part of town all by himself with just his white cane.
And I got to wondering if there was a way to use GPS to help these people get around easier.

...however, it won't warn me if a car is speeding towards me.

(406 posts)3. GPS just tells you where you are in relationship to the Magnetic poles & latitude/ Longitude
coordinates. Not with what you are in danger of colliding....
