Has anyone come up with a GPS that would help blind people?

There is this incredibly brave blind man that I see walking around. He crosses one of the busiest intersections in this part of town all by himself with just his white cane.

And I got to wondering if there was a way to use GPS to help these people get around easier.

others that you have vision issues so they will hopefully give you a bit of room.
