Related: About this forumThank you all for helping to save the ACA!!!!!!
Maybe we won't have to wait until Oct 1st to see if Bitchy Mitchie is going to pull a surprise sneaky vote at 3 AM before Oct 1st. I know it is going to keep coming back like a bad meal but at least we can breath a sigh of relief for now.
This should empower us and prove that grassroots activism CAN work! Now we have to get the Dems in the majority.
Breath, rest, smile. YOU DID IT!!!!!

(5,730 posts)It was the best insurance I had ever had at the time. So many lies & myths have been pounded into people by the greedy ruthless Repubs. Just compare it to what you get on the open market for the same plans, and you will see rates are much higher than O care, with BS provisions in the policies.
Anyway, 3 or 4 down, and possibly more to go. The Repubs were counting on taking from the poor, disabled & middle class to provide the tax breaks, so now they don't have that pile of money...which will mean tax breaks for the wealthy increase the deficits even more...creating a Tea Party problem.

(54,811 posts)this win today. I want to cry for what could have been.
My premiums are going up by 12% from Blue Cross of CA. My monthly subsidies will be disappearing (or at least will be held as a game/manipulation strategy by the orange ass) probably since the Donald is sabotaging what remains of the ACA out of shear spite. I HATE HIM SOOOOO MUCH!!!!!
At least I still have insurance (for now anyway).
