Related: About this forumAnyone wild about watercress?
Saw a thing about it on line and how great it was for health, so thought I'd give it a try. First I asked my friend that knows about this kind of stuff and he just said it was bitter.
I toasted up a couple of slice of multigrain bread, of course, and made a smoked salmon sandwich with some watercress and mustard. YUM.
I found the stems were pretty bitter, so I discarded the bigger stems.

Had to click continue thru the other 11 to get to it. Said it was the best for good health, by far.
The bitter stems kind of taste like radishes and I like those too.

I put watercress in chicken broth seasoned with a couple of slices of ginger. It is an easy soup to make and very nourishing.
