Surprise, surprise

Haven't gone for an eye exam since Covid started in 2020. Too scary in Florida where few wear masks. A year before that I had laser cataract surgery with newest up to date lenses implanted. This week, I finally ventured out to get a checkup and surprise! I now have to undergo more eye surgery to remove scar tissue from the original operations. No one told me this might happen nor when, but I'm not thrilled to need to undergo more surgery.
Just a warning to seniors, ask about this before you have cataract replacement lenses. Damn!

this soon as well. I knew this might happen because it happened to my BIL and also asked about it before hand. In fact I went to my eye dr. today and they will call to schedule it. My left eye is worse than the right, so doing it on left eye for now. They said some people have it happen to them a couple months after cataract surgery, and others several years. It also doesn’t happen to everyone. The surgery for me isn’t actually surgery, but laser treatment that just takes a few seconds. The laser treatment cleans the scar tissue from the lens. He told me that it’s so quick that it will take me longer to walk from the parking lot into the dr. office, which isn’t far.
