I guess my neuropathy has hit my hands pretty good.

Walked in the front door and saw blood all over my left hand. Had no idea of how or when that happened.
No sugar diabetes in the family, but my dad and brother all suffered from it too.

I slow run about 4 days a week. I think that has kept it from getting worse. Walking or running, right at 6 miles my feet feel like they are on fire. Been that way for about 8 years. My dad died at 90 years and he could still walk with a cane.

My daughter is a nurse in a dementia unit - she says that movement is life. The patients who stop walking go downhill fast.

have all told me to keep moving. Heart is doing great, no AFib. My normal pulse use to 45bpm. Then one day it went down to 24.

Mine does affect my walking somewhat. I do cook a lot and have to be careful about not noticing touching something hot for inadvertent knife knicks. It also makes it an adventure while typing sometimes. Don't have much pain associated with it. Mine is confined to my toes, lower legs and some fingers so far and since I am verging on 90 years old hope to escape that do to life age expectancy.
