(13,985 posts)Usually you shouldn't be able to scratch them off. But I'm not a doctor so I don't know.
Mines don't come off, wish they did!

I scratch them off. You are just scratching off the top layer. Online most sites say not to as you can get an infection if you scratch too deep.

(8,514 posts)And I can't even remember the name for this condition, but my ex had it, and it is caused by a virus. His doctor said to not be concerned.

(151,562 posts)you should not be, either. Probably they are seborrheic keratoses. Also called other names, but are harmless keratoses. The key thing is that you had them looked at. As we age...
