Anyone see "After School"?
Did I miss something? It was a Netflix rec and Rotten Tomatoes loved it. I couldn't wait for it to end. I should have replied after about 20 minutes that just about nothing was going to happen.

OP
I always look at the audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. They panned the film at 48%.

I haven't seen it, but it does not sound like a bad film.
Here's the trailer...probably all the best parts from your description.

One of the disadvantages of being a successful actor is the cable and streaming networks dredge up the awful films you made early in your career. Ezra Miller scored the plum role of The Flash in the DC Universe films and there will be a Flash film in 2022. But this "Afterschool" was made 12 years ago when he was 16. I imagine he wishes this on stayed in the bargain bin.
