On SNL he was advertising that Chappelle's Show was streaming on Netflix.

He signed the contract. He wasn't a kid. The show started in 2003 and he was 29 or 30 years old. In the third year of the show, he left, probably about the time Viacom was getting some significant ad revenue. So they decided to stream it on Netflix, which they were allowed to do, per Chappelle's contract with Viacom. But Dave has his feelings hurt because Viacom didn't ask him first? Dave's getting $20 Million per comedy special from Netflix. Viacom doesn't owe him shit.

on Netflix. I'm sorry Chapelle feels he has been ripped off, but I'm also glad I got to see the show. Extremely edgy, very funny, daring, and a bit racist on occasion, particularly with Asians..
