Survivors - BBC, 2 seasons, 12 episodes - After a superflu wipes us all out...

Fantastic show. Similar to The Walking Dead, but no zombies. Just us fighting over what remains and what will be built out of the rubble.

I've just finished the first season and about to start the second. Recommended!

It was cancelled during season 2 and had to rush to tie up loose ends.

But I see what you mean. A couple of plot developments seemed really forced. But they did leave loose ends, like Greg's family, the impending takeover, Tom on the plane, Samantha still around...

Oh, well. What did happen was a lot of fun for the most part.
