1. Just finished "Ragnarok" on Netflix.

It's a Norwegian film probably targeted more towards teenagers and young adults, although I really enjoyed watching the last couple of evenings. It must have been filmed on location and some of it was beautiful. It had positive messages, too.

10. I liked it too and waiting for.next series to be released.

Iíll have to rewatch some of the 1st series when the 2nd series is released because itís been a while. The story was centered around a teenager but I found it quite interesting, especially the influence of Norse mythology.

5. Tenet and The Dissident

I'm just finally getting back to watching movies after four years of really not seeing many.

The Dissident is the acclaimed documentary about the events surrounding the murder of Jamal Khashoggi. Chilling and powerful. Really gives you a sense of who Khashoggi was. Also, very well produced. I've seen critics say that it is too long, but for me it really flew by quickly.

Tenet is quite an amazing film. The first thing I knew when it was over is that I'd have to watch it again. It grapples with some fascinating ideas about theoretical physics and time travel. It is a race-against-time action film about an effort to prevent armageddon. It lacks the character development found in prior Christopher Nolan films but has some astonishing scenes. The plot is full of paradoxes--if you think too much about the science of Tenet you find your mind going round and round in circles trying to resolve unresolvable plot conflicts. But it's a wonderful diversion.

I streamed both on Amazon Prime--rented The Dissident but purchased Tenet.

6. Both sound intriguing

Iím almost afraid of Dissident. Observing the loneliness and inequality in Nomadland is depressing enough, but the Khashoggi case asks us to grapple with another leader who may not ever have to account for his despicable, terrible behavior.

7. I'm binge-watching "Gotham"

It reminds me of my beloved DC comics when I was a kid.

8. Anne with an E

On Netflix. Fantastic Canadian actors star in a heartwarming series based on Anne of Green Gables.

I'm tired of "edgy" and emotionally disturbing series. Sometimes you just want something sweet and comforting to get you through the winter.

9. I just finished season 2 of The Boys

For those not familiar with it, it has the most non-PC dialog since Reservoir Dogs and the most hilarious, over-the-top violence since Deadpool and the church scene from Kingsman. I can hardly wait for season 3.

I will start Jack Ryan or Mr. Robot soon.
