A sappy feel-good movie?
I'm in the mood for a sappy feel-good movie. Any recommendations?

(5,409 posts)ETA: I watched Almost Famous recently and enjoyed the heck out of it.
Its not really sappy, but its definitely feel good.

(7,911 posts)I also have Almost Famous. Haven't watched that in a couple years. I got a kick out of seeing Pauley Parrette (Abbey on NCIS) in that! Also I was a big Anna Paquin fan at the time, and who doesn't absolutely love Zooey Deschanel?

(7,911 posts)I had such a crush on Shirley McClain. For some reason that movie will always be associated in my mind with Days of Wine and Roses. Probably the Jack Lemon connection. For some reason Lee Remick's line in Swedish, "Tillsammans i himlen." (I'm just guessing at the spelling) has stuck in my mind for the last 60 years!!!
