Since I'm going to be out of the country, I checked to see which titles are expiring

during my absence, and I found out that George Gently is expiring early in June.

If you're a Brit mystery fan and haven't seen this one, I recommend it. It's about a city-bred police detective in the early 1960s who transfers to a small town in Yorkshire after his wife dies. This is the Mad Men era, only in Britain, which was much less prosperous than the U.S. at the time.

P.S. The "out of the country" part refers to a two-week trip to JAPAN!
