Attention Indie film buffs! Check out Kanopy and Hoopla

I discovered these two streaming sites about a year ago. They let you stream for free with your library card. And the selection of indie and offbeat films is pretty amazing. I recently browsed the newly added films and added a bunch to my queue. My Kanopy queue is at 270! And my Hoopla queue is at 84! I've found a ton of gems here that I've never heard of. And they also offer emags, ebooks, and music. The only downside is you can only stream 10 movies a month.

A bit off point to the group, but Hoopla is a great source for comics/graphic novels, too. Cuthbert Allgood Mar 2022 #1

I use a lot of my 10 check outs for that.

I have a friend who lives in NYC and they don't participate. You'd think they'd offer it!
