"Mr. Harrigan's Phone". Worth watching.
It's based on a Stephan King short story. It's quite well done. My only complaint is it's a bit long. I think since it was a short story, they dragged the first half out longer than needed. But overall a good commentary about our addiction to our phones. Not real scary, so it'd be okay for kids.
Streaming on Netflix.

(41,102 posts)There were some awesome stories in that book! Three come to mind right away & it's been over 35 years since I read it.
Will definitely check out this movie!

(12,786 posts)I've been hemming and hawing about watching it.
I don't mind slow, sounds good.
I once took a course with Stephen King's first editor. He said King was very long winded and he desperately needed a good editor. When King became famous, his editors became more timid. I swear The Mist has like five endings all strung together. But, I still read him.
