"Parallel" (2018), free with ads on Tubi

I'm a sucker for good time-travel and multiverse movies so I really enjoyed this 2018 indie film that I stumbled across called Parallel. It's about four twentysomething friends who discover an antique mirror in their rented house that serves as a portal to parallel timelines. Of course, they figure out how to exploit the discovery to attain wealth and personal success and there's ultimately, of course, a high cost by the end but the film is very compelling in how it gets there.

I've never seen the four leads in anything before but they give solid, engaging performances, helped by a strong script that has its share of "wow" moments, good production values, and a score that amplifies the suspense without being intrusive. If you liked the movies Primer, Safety Not Guaranteed and Everything Everywhere All at Once, I think you'll like Parallel.
