Three shortish films, the first and third are a lot of fun, but the middle one (Heavenly Creature) I really liked. If you've ever wondered how a robot would fare in a Buddhist monastery, I recommend it...

2. Netflix opened my eyes to the world of Korean cinema.

I'm positively evangelical about Park Chan-wook's Vengeance Trilogy, three gorgeously-made and emotionally devastating films that everyone should at least try to watch.
