I just finished "Task". Wow!

One of the best series I've seen in quite a while. The writing and acting were great. And quite a powerful ending. I knew Mark Rufallo could act, but he was brilliant in this. It's streaming on HBO/Max.

Robert Patterson.

Very interesting and good movie.
Ruffalo plays a space cult leader who clearly has elements of Mussolini and Trump and I’d say Jim Jones. He and the director deny it but it’s pretty evident.

Task was an excellent examination of rural crime, moral choices and the intricacies of family dynamics. We looked forward to each new episode. The entire cast was excellent, especially Ruffalo. One of the best final episodes of all the series I’ve sat through over the course of countless dramatic series over the years.
