Acorn TV
I access Acorn TV through my Roku and library card. I just discovered an Australian series called "East of Everything" which I found absolutely delightful! Anyone else watch this?
If nothing else, the scenery will make you want to book a flight to Australia.

(15,569 posts)It may or may not have Acorn TV. I never really got into Hoopla. Have you used it?

(15,569 posts)I'm still upset that they require a donation to watch some of their best programs. They'll release some episodes and then the majority are locked. I gave up on that even though I love PBS.

(70,459 posts)Wisconsin Public TV---which carries lots of PBS--as an affiliate. We subscribe to Dish.. PBS is part of the package -so no extra charges (we have just the basic package).

(15,569 posts)I use rabbit ears and I can get four PBS stations, but I miss some of the series stuff unless I make a concerted effort to see what's on when.
My grown children bought the Roku for me about 5 years ago and the only thing I pay for is Netflix which is $7.99 per month.
