"Ginger & Rosa." A gem I'd never heard of.

Starring Elle Fanning. I don't know how this excellent movie slipped through the cracks. Here's my review and a trailer:

Except Roland blew his own brains out and Rosa tried to slit her own throat in my bathtub.

But other than Roland, it eventually turned out happily ever after, more or less, even without any forgiveness.

There's no way in hell I'd make anyone suffer my own "coming of age story" as anything but comedy.
