Gratitude for today

I had a using dream last night, I could feel the glass in my hand, could almost taste my chemical of choice. Felt very real.

I popped awake, in surprise, got up, made coffee, fed the inside and feral cats.
Then got my journal and book out.

I'm going to need an in person meeting soon.

But, for today, clean, abstinent and sober.
Which is good

Its a slog that goes on and on but each day, you are a new winner.

Post every day if you want..... a win is more fun if it is shared.

I would be happy to see a thousand posts a day from people in this topic.

Down to maybe one or two dd's a year.

I get reminded why I stay clean daily by my friends from the program that can't won't don't.

Its easy being good.

Living life like they have to would be the real true nightmare.
