I've been rewatching the dvds for The Wire season 1. On the small chance you do not know the show, it deals with drugs in the eastern US city of Baltimore Md.
S1, episode 7, a main character, Bubbles, is at a Narcotics Anon meeting in support of his friend. Bubbles hears Walon, another addict, speaking about getting and staying clean. Walon says he knows he has one more high in him, but he doesn't know if he can get clean One.More.Time.
That (paraphrased) statement is sticking with me. I do not think I can get clean/get sober one more time.
