Is everyone ready for the holidays?

Here comes the season filled with a ton of temptations. Are you ready to handle all the partying and wretched excess that's on its way?

1. Sweets and simple carbs would be about my worst temptations. No alcohol, nicotine, weed, drugs.

Too spendthrifty to go on a credit card binge.

2. Since nobody invites me to anything any more I don't worry about that.

It's what happens when you get old; you become invisible and people forget you exist - and it's fine; my temptation is all those sweets, and without exposure to them I can stay on my diet.

3. I've already got the Blue Christmas Service locally on my calendar.

I grind my teeth, listening to commercial Christmas music.
