Anyone have experience using THC edibles during chemotherapy?

Does it actually help, especially nausea and appetite? (a little spirit-lifting would also help)

Any tips on dosage, etc.?

A straight-arrow friend is really suffering with chemo and looks to be wasting away, with no appetite and nausea. I suggested some THC edibles, and to my surprise, she actually seems open to trying some. I live in a legal state, and offered to go to a dispensary and get some microdose pills. Is this something I should pursue, or am I off base suggesting this?

Any advice or insight would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I found it helpful for sleep, appetite, and nausea. Indica was better for me than sativa. It did make me "stupid" for a little while -- I often found I wasn't good at explaining things or solving logic puzzles, but that's okay.
